You will be responsible for

• Perform pre-start checks for abnormalities on equipment and assist Process Operator.
• Keep Process Operator informed on physical condition of the operational treatment plant.
• Implement appropriate action to the occurrence of critical parameter anomalies in the treatment plant, and provide feedback.
• Assist Process Operator in conducting scheduled efficiency tests.
• Ensure effective operation of the treatment plant.
• Adheres to Company policies and procedures relating to health, safety, security and environmental issues

Formal qualifications:

• Grade 12 or NQF equivalent
• Mineral Processing Learnership L1 (Advantage)

Additional requirements:

• Relevant DBM in-house plant training modules complete (Applicable to Internal candidates only)

Role-specific knowledge:

• Previous sea going experience would be advantageous
• Diamond processing plant experience (Advantage / additional)
