Job Description:
The Technical Training Manager is a 12-month role and will help deliver the Go To Market strategic project, one of the transformational projects for E6.

During your time in this role you will gain;

A deep understanding of commercial propositions and the challenges faced with customers and distributors.
Experience working alongside Senior Leaders at E6 and exposure to the Executive Leadership Team.
You will be responsible for identifying, developing, delivering, and monitoring of technical training programmes for our global Distributor network with the aim of enhancing the overall technical capabilities of our Distributors. This is fundamental to driving customer centricity by supporting our distributors to develop a basic level of training for all E6 products. This role will help E6 in maintaining technical superiority in the marketplace by supporting a clear articulation of our products and their benefits by to distribution network.

This role reports to the Sales Director for Grits & Distribution.  We can be flexible on where the role is based, as long as you can work across different time zones.

Duties and tasks

Collects all existing E6 technical information available.
Identifies the key technology and insights to transfer to a Distributor.
Assesses the capability of our existing Distributors and identifies gaps in their knowledge or skills.
Creates and delivers individual training programmes, as required.
Continual monitoring of progress  and feeds this back into the training programme

Prior Experience.  You understand E6 products, demonstrating breadth and depth of knowledge and are able to demonstrate good attention to detail.
Background. You come from an Innovation, Engineering, or Product management background with exposure to the technical capabilities of our broad product range within HPHT.
Training. Some exposure of providing technical training to internal or external stakeholders will be quite desirable.
Project Management.  Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders at different levels of seniority, preferably across different geographies.
Customer Centric.  Highly motivated to bring clarity and responsiveness to customers and partners (internal and external).  Understands the customers underlying needs and problems.
Decision Making.  Makes clear, timely decisions and gives explicit and clear guidance.  Decisions are focused on increasing or improving the company’s options and are owned.
Manages Complexity.  Doesn’t over engineer solutions and stays focused on the problem being solved.  Considers the implications of local decisions across the whole organisation and its external stakeholders.
Accountability.  Holds self and others to account.  Understands that no one can see the complete picture.
