Barberton Mines Internship Program 2022 Application Details
Barberton Mines Internship and Experiential Learning Programmes are a unique opportunity to gain necessary skills in the mining industry and also gain exposure to fields of expertise as well as acquire critical business competencies.
Barberton Mines aims to provide graduates and diplomates (P1+P2) students with an opportunity to gain exposure to the work environment for a limited duration contract period of 2 years as a graduate intern and 6 months as a P1+P2 student. Prospective candidates in possession of relevant N2 or higher qualifications will also be considered for experiential learning.

Requirements:
South African Citizenship.
National Diploma or Degree relevant to mining industry (Non-negotiable)
- Mining Engineering
- Metallurgy
- Electrical
- Financial Accounting
(P1 & P2) and or Minimum N2 related experiential learning
Requirements:
- South African Citizenship.
- A formal letter from a tertiary institution of learning, confirming the required in-service training
- Completed national diploma qualification relevant to mining industry
- or Completed N2 qualification relevant to the particular trade
Skills and Competencies:
- Good communication skills
- Good supervisory, management and leadership skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Barberton Mines Valid Medical fitness certificate within 21 days from accepting our offer.
- Security clearance certificate – clean criminal record
