City of Johannesburg Admin Internship Program 2025/2026 Application Details
An internship is a period of work experience offered by an organization for a limited period of time. An internship is used for a wide range of placements in businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. They are typically undertaken by students and graduates looking to gain relevant skills and experience in a particular field.
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Transport Department is offering Internship opportunities to suitably qualified and unemployed graduates. The Internships will run for a a period NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months
Salary:
- Graduates (Qualification completed with min 360 credits): R8 329.27 pm
- Enrolled as a student : R3 500.00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the staff with general office duties including, but not limited to, research, data entry, filing and general coordination.
- Assist in the general administration work for Directorate.
- Submit administration work performed on applications.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / NQF level 4
- Diploma (NQF level 6 or Higher) in:
- Administration Management
- Transport Management
- Computer literate in all Microsoft Office Applications : Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ages between 18 – 35 years; and
- Only City of Joburg residents will be considered.
