Job Descriptions
We are looking for a talented T ransport Administrator to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Corporate Organizaton in Waterfall Park, Johannesburg, South Africa / your remote home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Improve Ocean imports visibility
- Reduction in demurrage and storage costs
- Improve on time container delivery and visibility via reporting
- Improve on time airfreight collection, improve airfreight visibility via reporting
- Improve on Air freight lead times
- Reduction in airfreight costs
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- 3-5 year Ocean / Air import Freight agent experience
- Understanding on how customs in South Africa operates
- Clear knowledge on how book and move cargo via Air and Ocean freight
- Must have the ability to inspect routes, spend and volumes and present data
