The DPU70 Scholarships are powered by The Bartlett Promise Scholarship, and funded by The Bartlett Development Planning Unit.
The DPU70 Masters Scholarships are intended to go some small way to helping to support the collaborations that are so fundamental to Africa as a continent.

Requirements For DPU70 Scholarship at University College London 2024
To be considered for the DPU70 Masters Scholarship, you must:
- Be a national of one of a Sub Saharan African country and resident in an eligible SSA country
- Not hold a British or dual British citizenship
- Have an offer of admission to a master’s course at The Bartlett Development Planning Unit for study in the 2024-25 academic year
- Be in financial need as assessed by UCL
In addition to these, candidates should ideally also meet at least one of the additional criteria:
- Be a forced migrant
- Be the first generation in the family to attend university at undergraduate level
- Be the first generation in family to attend university at postgraduate level.
Rewards DPU70 Scholarship at University College London 2024
Bemeficiaries of the DPU70 Scholarship at the University College London will receive;
- Full overseas tuition fees
- An annual allowance of £16,008 to cover living and study expenses
- A flight to/from the UK,
- UK Study Visa costs,
- English language assessment costs,
- Health test costs and the NHS Immigration Health Supplement charge.
- All Promise scholars, including DPU70 scholars, will also receive on-going academic and career support during their study.

Anyone who is a national of and domiciled in a Sub-Saharan African country, including:

- Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia,
