Duke University invites applications for the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity Graduate Summer Research Fellowships 2026. What Fellows Do

Teams meet twice a week, either in person or online. These sessions help share updates and work with mentors, including post-docs and faculty. Some fellows mentor undergrads as near-peers.
Fellows keep in touch with mentors and mentees often. They track progress and solve issues as they arise. At the end, each writes a short summary of their work for the Cook Center website.

This opportunity is for current Duke University PhD students only. Applicants must be in good standing and plan to enroll in Fall 2026. No other students qualify.
