Gavin Hunt (born 11 July 1964) is a former South African footballer and current manager of Kaizer Chiefs. He has previously coached SuperSport United, Seven Stars, Hellenic FC, Black Leopards, and Moroka Swallows.

He is considered one of the highest-paid coaches in the Premier Soccer League.

Club Career

Hunt started his football career at Rygersdal Football Club as a youth before moving to Hellenic F.C. in 1981. He played for Hellenic for 13 years spending almost his entire playing career with team. Hunt also played for Cape Town Spurs in 1993 while on loan from Hellenic.

He retired due to an achilles tendon injury and immediately decided to venture into coaching.
