Macsteel is currently recruiting learners for production technology learnerships. The purpose of the Production Technology Learnership is to provide practical and theoretical training in production operations, equipping learners with the skills and experience needed to work in a technical manufacturing environment. The 12-month program aims to develop entry-level talent by exposing learners to production processes, machine operations, and workplace systems.

How Do Learnerships Work

In the past, the education given in schools and other educational facilities did not have much in common with the working world. This meant that people entered the workplace with all of the knowledge but none of the practical experience on how to do the job.
