Your Role:

An exciting opportunity has opened up with our company. We are looking to hire an Accounts Payables Controller in Finance Business Services, for the South East Africa Region.

As an Account Payables Controller, you will have the following responsibilities:

Processing of vendor invoices in the respective ERP system.

Comparing remittance advices to the creditors statements and investigating any differences.

Select invoices which will form part of the automatic payment run.

Publish and review aged analysis periodically and present finding in review meetings.

Ensure compliance with respect to the Accounts Payables Policy & Procedures of the company & external legislative requirements.

Ensure timely payment of Vendor invoices.

Ensure timely processing and payment of travel and expenses (T&E).

Prepare, process and make payments to international suppliers in line with legislative requirements.

Prepare & generate month-end reports, accruals, journals & the appropriate general ledger reconciliations.

Manage complex requests, inquiries and issues related to accounts payables, including follow up and resolution of such incidents.

Leverage expertise to constantly seek out better ways of performing processes, to contribute to process excellence initiatives.

Who you are:

Grade 12 with Maths & Accounting

Financial Diploma/Undergraduate degree – will be an added advantage

Embrace & SAP Knowledge

Experience in Accounting/Finance with related experience with full-cycle Accounts Payables or accounting knowledge required

Proven ability to extract, reason and communicate data
