Pawsitive Pets has an opening for a professional pet care assistant within our Cape Town team. Candidates wishing to apply should have relevant industry experience & consider all the responsibilities & requirements of the position and only apply should they comply.

NB: Owning pets of your own does not qualify as industry experience!

Pet Sitter Responsibilities:

• Feed, play & exercise pets
• Ensure pets are happy, healthy & safe at all times while in your care
• Provide prompt feedback to clients who’s pets are in your care
• Comply with company policies & procedures at all times

Pet Sitter Requirements:

• Own reliable transport & drivers license
• Proven experience working as a pet sitter.
• Working knowledge of animal behavior.
• The ability to handle & deal with stressful situations
• The ability to care for different animals of various sizes and breeds including small critters
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• A love for animals.
• Patient, reliable, and trustworthy.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Candidates wishing to apply should be comfortable with staying / sleeping at clients homes, they should have flexible schedules that will allow them to properly attend to all tasks required of them without issues.

Part-time hours: 10 per week

Pay: R500.00 – R10,000.00 per month
