How to Pay Bills Online Using Standard Bank.

Our Internet Banking portal makes managing your bills easier than ever before. You can not only make payments directly from your own browser, you can also check which bills are still outstanding and even help out a relative by paying on their behalf.

Begin by visiting the Standard Bank website, and click the Sign into your accounts link, then signing in as usual. When you see the screen showing you a list of your accounts, look for “Transact” in the menu bar at the top. Click on it, and then select “My Bills” from the “Pay” column. If this is your first time here, you will need to read through the terms and conditions and click the checkbox to accept them.

When the “My Bills” page opens, you will see three options are available:

  • Your Bills This section lists all outstanding bills that are waiting for payment.
  • Billing Beneficiaries This section lists our supported partner beneficiaries, which you can add to your profile.
  • Pay on behalf of Help a friend or relative by paying on their behalf.

Adding a beneficiary:

To start paying your bills, you will need to add your beneficiaries.

  1. Click the “Billing Beneficiaries” tab and browse the “Available” list of our billing partners. When you find the one you want to add, click its “subscribe” icon.
  2. We will show you a brief description of both the beneficiary and how we will identify you to them. Click “Confirm” to proceed.
  3. On the confirmation screen, you have the choice to return to a list of your bills, or to continue adding beneficiaries. Click “My Bills” to view your bills, or “Done” to return to the list of supported beneficiaries.

Paying a bill:

If you have outstanding bills, they will be listed in the “Your Bills” page.

  1. Click “Your Bills” to view a list of bills that have been issued by our beneficiaries.
  2. Choose the bill you wish to pay by clicking it to view the details.
  3. You will need to verify that all details are correct and choose which of your accounts you will use to pay this bill.
  4. Once you have confirmed your selections, the bill will be paid, and the beneficiary will be notified.
