The program, funded by the Wholesale & Retail SETA, lasts 12 months and focuses on practical retail and workplace skills. It gives young people a chance to work in a busy retail setting and learn from the ground up.
What You Will Learn
Learners get training in key areas that matter in retail jobs. You will practice customer service right on the shop floor. The program covers marketing and merchandising, basic English and math skills, and how to use Point of Sale systems. You will also handle stock control, loss prevention, opening customer accounts, and understanding the full retail environment.
Minimum Requirements
