Minimum Qualifications:

• Matric Pass, including math’s as a subject
• Experience in manufacturing

Capabilities:

• High attention to detail
• Pass eye test, which will include test for colour blindness
• Confident and able to make decisions

• Able to handle a physical job, i.e. climbing ladders, picking up boxes, spend a lot of time on your feet
• Able to work under pressure, be able to solve problems and adapt when necessary
• Able and willing to work long hours
• Willing to participate in stock takes
• Be able to plan proactively in everything you do
• Strong ability to adhere to systems and procedure

Duties:

• Assist production supervisor/manager with running a production shift
• Be able to read the production plan and understand it
• Ensure all stock required for the production shift has been issued to the production floor
• Assist with mould changes where required, to a standard that meets company requirements and within planned mould change times
• Assist with circumventing production delays / poor quality production / staff not meeting their performance targets
• Assist with ensuring manufactured stock meets mandated quality standards – per company policy
• Always maintain quality control SOP and AQL control document
• Responsible for supply of accurate production administration, on time
• Have intimate knowledge of machine operating protocol and what constitutes acceptable company standards. Ensure these standards are met and exceeded
• Have an intimate knowledge of company product and what constitutes good quality
• Constantly assist to improve production efficiency, and therefore drive down cost without compromising quality or the health & safety of staff
• Engage with other team members cohesively, including quality control and management
• Complete required training on time and in a manner that allows you to affect what you have learnt in your daily duties
• Use all software mandated by the Company
• Always act in a manner that is aligned with company duties

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R8,000.00 – R12,000.00 per month
