SABC Education Notice to Matrics of 2023 on How to Register for their results as marking concludes.
SABC Education has called for the matrics of 2023 to register to receive their final results as the marking of the matric exams is coming to an end.
The marking of the matric exams was said to be ahead of schedule and now the majority of the marking centres across the country have completed the marking ahead of schedule. The capturing of marks has now begun and is set to conclude on 25 January.
SABC Education in partnership with the Department of Basic Education (DBE) in “Enriching Minds, Enriching Lives” launched its Matric Results service and they have urged matrics to register to receive their final results via an SMS or by using the USSD line.
If there are students who want to avoid big crowds gathering to receive their results at schools across the country then this is the perfect solution.
The results will be made available on 22 February 2023 and all learners who want to make use of the service must register with their exam number on the platform of their choice to access their results.
The following are the steps to how learners can register to receive their 2023 Matric Results:
By SMS
- SMS your exam number to 45856
- The system verifies the exam number; your exam number must be correct in order to be accepted.
- Learners will be charged R1-50 per SMS, free SMS’s do not apply
By USSD
- Dial *120*45856# enter exam number to register
- You will be charged R1-50 per minute
- Results will be sent to your phone once they are available
By MATRICSMATE APP
- Download the app for free from Google Play and Apple App Stores
If you have any queries relating to the registration and the use of the SABC Education Matric Results service then you can contact their call center on 011 507 4630, available Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. On the day of the release, the call center will be operating from midnight to 5 pm.
Matric Results will be released on 22 February 2023 so learners are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
