South Africa Government Activities for the Week: 29 Jul to 4 Aug/

Government has planned the following activities for the week 29 July – 4 August 2019

  • On Tuesday, 30 July, Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure and Deputy Minister of Justice and Correctional Services will  brief media on the state of SA courts. It will take place at the National Prosecuting Authority, VGM Building, Corner Westlake and Hartley, 123 Westlake Avenue, Weavind, Silverton at 09:00 – 12:00.
  • On Tuesday, 30 July, the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Alvin Botes, is scheduled to visit Laingsburg in the Western Cape Province where he will participate in activities to mark Mandela Month, at 10:00.
  • On Tuesday, 30 July, Statistics South Africa will release the results of the Quarterly Labour Force Survey (QLFS) for the second quarter of 2019. It will take place at the GCIS Ronnie Mamoepa Press Room, Pretoria at 11:00.
  • On Wednesday, 31 July, The Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Maite Nkoana-Mashabane will launch the 2019 Women’s Month programme with a breakfast to recognise thought leaders and development partners driving the socio-economic empowerment of women. The launch will take place at Sheraton Hotel, Pretoria at 07:30 – 09:30.
