Studying Online at SACAP 2023 | How to apply for Study at South African College of Applied Psychology for 2023 academic year.
Why Choose SACAP
Robust academics, practical skills and individual attention. We really do want you to succeed and graduate as a well-equipped and confident practitioner who can make a positive transformational impact on the lives of others.
This is why we have an alternative plan in place should your course start before lock-down has ended. You can still start your studies on our established online campus and then migrate them to your physical campus later.
Academic rigor, applied skills
Graduating as a competent practitioner is of key importance to us. Which is why we combine an academically rigorous curriculum with a strong emphasis on the ability to apply knowledge through the training of relevant skills.
Accredited qualifications, a reputation for excellence
SACAP’s qualifications enjoy accreditation by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and are registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) . What’s more, our Bachelor of Psychology Degree is accredited by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Small classes, big thinking
We keep our classes deliberately small. This encourages active participation and engagement between you, your fellow students and your educators. This interactive and experiential learning is a core feature of our educational philosophy.
Expert training, from the experts
SACAP has over 20 years’ experience as a leading provider of training in Applied Psychology. So whether you’re studying Psychology, Counselling, Coaching, Human Resource Management or Business Management, know that your educators bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table.
Hands-on experience, while you study
SACAP’s Work Integrated Learning is where your training really comes to life. Most of our qualifications include supervised practical placements that cover a diverse range of settings. Again, SACAP has alternative plans in place for this to continue in a safe and meaningful way, should lock-down still be in effect.
More study options, fewer excuses
Our different study plans make it easier to choose an option that best works for you. Many of our qualifications are available as full time or part-time options and given that we have three intakes per year (course dependent), you don’t need to “lose” time before starting your studies. We have four different campuses throughout South Africa or you can study with SACAP Online.
Develop your potential, make a difference
Too often, those in crisis can’t access the help they need. SACAP’s person-centred educational philosophy develops the intellectual, practical and emotional skills our students need to effect positive change where it’s needed most.
- Start your studies on our established online campus and then migrate them to your physical campus later.
