Key Performance Areas:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service for a memorable shopping experience
  2. Address individual customer needs and prioritize customer satisfaction
  3. Ensure prompt and relevant service on the sales floor and by phone
  4. Adhere to basic customer service standards
  5. Understand and advise customers on product range, pricing, and warranties
  6. Demonstrate and explain products to customers
  7. Focus on selling and upselling products and services
  8. Ensure accurate pricing and display of goods
  9. Plan and execute promotions in a timely manner
  10. Maintain merchandising layouts and housekeeping standards
  11. Prepare and maintain advertised sales promotions
  12. Report fast and slow-moving products to the Store Manager
  13. Participate in stock takes and counts
  14. Minimize stock loss and expenses
  15. Maximize sales in all areas
  16. Protect company assets within the area of responsibility

Entry Requirements:

  1. Matric Certificate
  2. Six months of retail experience
  3. Reliable transport for shift work

General Responsibilities:

  1. Perform additional duties as requested by Senior Management
  2. Complete mandatory and service training as required
  3. Maintain strict confidentiality of all information
  4. Participate in regular appraisals and personal development reviews
  5. Stay up to date with current SOPs
  6. Fully cooperate with the introduction of new technology and method
