Position Purpose:
The purpose of the Training Programme is to develop a pipeline for key roles within Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) through a
structured 24-month training programme. The programme seeks to place Young proffesionals in specific areas within TPT
according to their academic background, career aspirations and business requirements
Position outputs:
- Follow a structured training programme
- Undergo performance reviews and assessments
- Perform all duties as contained in his/her development programme,
as well as which he/she may reasonably be required to perform by Transnet Port TerminalsQualifications & Experience:
Completed National diploma in the following:
- National Diploma or NQF level 6 equivalent in Health, Safety,
Environment or related – incumbent to be based at TPT BBC,
TPT Pier 2 Terminals
- National Diploma or NQF level 6 equivalent in
Accounting/Management accounting or related – incumbent to
be based at TPT Pier 2 Terminal
- National Diploma or NQF level 6 equivalent in Supply
Chain/Logistics/ Operations Management and Transport
Management – incumbent to be based at TPT Pier 2 Terminalor
Completed Degree in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or NQF level 7 equivalent in Human
Resources or Social Science or related – incumbent to be
based at TPT Pier 1, TPT Pier 2 and BBC Terminals
- Bachelor’s degree or NQF level 7 equivalent in Safety / Risk
management or related – incumbent to be based at TPT Pier 1
Terminal
