TSIBA Business School Tuition Fees 2023

The TSIBA Business School commits to the principles of inclusivity and access to quality higher education as a fundamental human right in alignment with the Global Sustainability Goals on Education.

Accordingly, tuition fees at TSIBA Business School are cast on consideration to academic performance on application,  affordability and academic excellence through the full journey of studies at the institution.

All undergraduate students at TSIBA Business School study on fully subsidised or partially subsidised scholarships. Notwithstanding, in the interest of sustainability of access offered by the institution, and accountability by the beneficiaries, selection for TSIBA scholarships will be based on two primary criteria, namely, affordability and merit. Additionally, qualifications for scholarships will be reviewed annually, based on the same criteria.

Please understand that at the time of publishing this information, the official TSIBA Education fee structure is subject to change without prior notice.

Fees include all the amounts that are payable in order for you to study and graduate on time. It is important for undergraduate students to note that tuition fees differ between the faculties at TSIBA Education.

For postgraduate, Master’s, Honours, and Doctorate students: as a returning student, your fees may look quite different from that of an undergraduate student.

International students should note that the registration and tuition fees that apply to them are slightly different from that of local students. Read more about the differences and payable fees.

All undergraduate students at TSIBA Business School study on a full or partially subsidised scholarship based on two primary criteria:

1. Affordability and
2. Academic Merit

The status of every student’s scholarship will be reviewed annually.

The scholarship breakdown is as follows:

  • Full scholarships are 100% subsidised by TSIBA
  • Partial scholarships have two tiers
    • Tier 1 partial scholarships are 75% subsidised by TSIBA
    • Tier 2 partial scholarships are 60% subsidised by TSIBA

Our partnership with Manati allows each application to be individually assessed based on the applicant’s ability to afford the monthly repayments. They also consider joint household income (spouse, partner, or family members employed) to help bridge the affordability gap.

Academic Merit

You have achieved a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Higher Certificate endorsement (or equivalent);

AND

You have achieved a minimum of  24 points on the TSIBA Points System

  • Annual Scholarship Review: TSIBA Scholarships and qualifications to full or partial scholarships are reviewed annually.
  • Full Scholarship Duration (Full-Time Students): Full Scholarships for full-time students are provided for a maximum of one academic year for the Higher Certificate in Business Administration and three academic years for the Bachelor of Business Administration.
  • Full Scholarship Duration (Part-Time Students): Full Scholarships for part-time students are provided for a maximum of two academic years for the Higher Certificate in Business Administration and four academic years for the Bachelor of Business Administration.

You qualify to receive a Tier 1 Partial Scholarship if:

Your parent or legal guardian’s household income after-tax is LESS than R350 000 per year (or R 29 165 per month)

Academic Merit

You have achieved a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Higher Certificate endorsement (or equivalent);

AND

You have achieved a minimum of 22 points on the TSIBA Points System

Affordability

Your parent or legal guardian’s household income after-tax EXCEEDS R350 000 per year (or R 29 165 per month)

Academic Merit

You have achieved a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Higher Certificate endorsement (or equivalent);

AND

You have achieved a minimum of 24 points on the TSIBA Points System

You qualify to receive a full scholarship if:

Monthly after-tax Parent or Legal Guardian household income is LESS than R350 000,00 per year  (or R29 265,00 per month)

Academic Merit

You have achieved a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Bachelors’ degree endorsement (or equivalent);

AND

You have achieved a minimum of  30  points on the TSIBA Points System

OR

The Bachelor of Business Administration Applicant has completed the TSIBA (or equivalent) Business School Higher Certificate in Business Administration (HCBA) in one year with an aggregate of at least 55%

Monthly after-tax Parent or Legal Guardian household income is LESS than R350 000,00 per year  (or R29 265,00 per month)

Academic Merit

You have achieved a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Bachelors’ degree endorsement (or equivalent);

AND

You have achieved a minimum of 28  points on the TSIBA Points System

OR

HCBA (or equivalent) graduates with an aggregate of 55% or more

OR

The Bachelor of Business Administration Applicant with TSIBA (or equivalent) Business School Higher Certificate in Business Administration (HCBA) completed within two years without regard to the aggregate mark or one year with an aggregate of 50 – 54%.
