Metals USA, a steel service center in Walker, MI, has an immediate opening for a 1st shift warehouse person. The candidate will be able to pack orders off computer schedules or come off machines to specifications with skilled use of material handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and side loaders.
Time-constrained completion of individual tasks such as the stocking of machines and the unloading and loading of trucks. Interpret and anticipate material requirements at work centers. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
• Proficient use of the English language
• Able to read and write legibly
• Have basic math skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read measuring devices
• Operate material handling equipment
• Conduct job functions safely and efficiently.
