Liaising with Sales:<\/b><br \/>\nThe Logistics Coordinator will liaise with the Sales Consultants regularly with regards to feedback from sites and customer contact details.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. Customer Liaison:<\/b><br \/>\nOnce a job has been opened, the Logistics Coordinator will send a courtesy email to the customer to request contact details and maps to site for delivery. Once received, this is placed in the job file.<\/p>\n<p>The Logistics Coordinator must determine whether a safety file is needed. If it is required, the Logistics Coordinator must communicate this to the Project Manager.<\/p>\n<p><b>3. Arranging for Deliveries:<\/b><br \/>\nEvery Monday a production schedule and that week\u2019s scheduled delivery list is sent through by the Production Planner. The Logistics Coordinator contacts each client indicated on AB Tank Schedule to:<\/p>\n<p>Determine whether both the foundations and client are ready for delivery and installation of the tank\/s ordered. This applies to both local and international clients.<\/p>\n<p>Determine whether the site is safe and secure for delivery to take place while the foundations are being completed if the foundations are not ready for installation.<\/p>\n<p>Determine the estimated date that the client will be ready to accept delivery or collect the material.<\/p>\n<p>Inform the client on the progress of the job i.e. and give an estimated week during which manufacturing is expected to be complete.<\/p>\n<p>Confirm a date for delivery or collection that will be suitable for both the factory and the customer once the job is close to completion or ready for delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure that Production Planner is informed well in advance regarding the dates on which the clients require delivery\/collection, so the packing list can be issued, and transport be arranged, this will also aid in reporting any delays in production.<\/p>\n<p>To liaise with the client ongoing regarding the deliveries to ensure that the completion and delivery\/collection of the job takes place as smoothly and professionally as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Keep the Production Planner informed regarding any information related to jobs that may affect deliveries.<\/p>\n<p>Once feedback is obtained from the customer regarding deliveries and site information, AB Tanks is updated accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>The Logistics Coordinator will then obtain transport quotes and book transport as needed for delivery dates determined.<\/p>\n<p>For cross-border deliveries, the Logistics Coordinator must complete all relevant border documents<\/p>\n<p><b>Candidate Requirements:<\/b><br \/>\n1. Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience.<\/p>\n<p>2. Good understanding of coordinating projects.<\/p>\n<p>3. Liaising on project planning with customers.<\/p>\n<p>4. Computer literate.<\/p>\n<p>5.
