The scholarship is available for the academic session of 2024.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Mary Majka Scholarship Fund 2024 Application Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion_builder_column_1_2 fusion-one-half fusion-column-last 1_2\">\n<div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\" data-bg-url=\"\">\n<div class=\"fusion-text\">\n<p>The Mary Majka Scholarship Fund was established in 2014 by Nature NB to honour the legacy of one of our founding members, Mary Majka, with the intent to further youth engagement with nature and our natural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Mary Majka was an environmental pioneer, TV host, wildlife rehabilitator and outdoor educator\u2026a driving force behind New Brunswick\u2019s first conservation organizations. But it was her fervent defense and preservation of cultural heritage, sensitive habitats, and the wild creatures that share our world that most influenced those around her.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion_builder_column_1_1 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first fusion-column-last 1_1\">\n<div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\" data-bg-url=\"\">\n<div class=\"fusion-text\">\n<h3 data-fontsize=\"24\" data-lineheight=\"36\"><b>Eligibility and General Scholarship information<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fusion-text\">\n<p>The Mary Majka Scholarship Fund is open to New Brunswick students from middle school to those attending an undergraduate program. Awards will be granted on a yearly basis ranging from $250 to $1000, depending on the number of applicants and funds available.<\/p>\n<p>Scholarships will be awarded in three distinct categories:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>High School graduates, upon entering a post-secondary education program focusing on nature conservation;<\/li>\n<li>Post-secondary students who are already enrolled in a post-secondary education program focused on nature conservation; or<\/li>\n<li>Students in middle or high school, for a project, focused on nature conservation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>How to Apply For Mary Majka Scholarship Fund <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Visit the official website of the Mary Majka Scholarship Fund below for the application form and other information about the Mary Majka Scholarship Fund program.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are accepted annually. The deadline to apply is March 31st of the current calendar year. Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by our scholarship committee.
