All Eligible and Interested app<a href=\"https:\/\/southafricaportal.com\/\">l<\/a>icants may apply online for this opportunity before the application deadline-closing date.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>NOTE:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don\u2019t forget that the <b>FAO-Hungarian Government Scholarship<\/b>\u00a0application is totally free of charge<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t send anyone money for this opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Beware of Fraudsters!!!!<\/li>\n<li>Subscribe to our notification list with your email to receive the Latest Opportunities Update.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>FAO-Hungarian Government Scholarship Application Details 2022<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Applications are now been received for the\u00a0<strong>FAO\/Hungarian Government Scholarship Programme for study in Hungary for the 2022\/2023\u00a0<\/strong>Academic Year<\/p>\n<p><strong>The following Master of Science degree course is offered in English for the 2022\u201323 academic year:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Food safety and quality engineering\u00a0<\/strong>(Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>University\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following university and faculty is participating:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Buda Campus, Budapest.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Benefits<\/p>\n<p>Courses will be offered provided the minimum number of students is reached.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship will cover:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>application and tuition fees throughout the study period with basic books and notes;<\/li>\n<li>dormitory accommodation;<\/li>\n<li>subsistence costs;<\/li>\n<li>health insurance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All of the above mentioned costs are financed by the Hungarian Government, according to the Agreement between FAO and Hungary in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship covers student costs only;\u00a0<strong>family members are not supported<\/strong>\u00a0within the frame of this programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>List of eligible countries<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Residents (who must be nationals) of the following countries are eligible to apply for the Scholarship Programme:<\/p>\n<p>Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo<sup>1<\/sup>, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Madagascar, Mali, Myanmar, Republic of Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Namibia, Nigeria, North Korea, State of Palestine, the Philippines, Republic of Cabo Verde, Serbia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen.<\/p>\n<p><em><sup>1<\/sup>References to Kosovo shall be understood to be in the context of Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Application Procedure:<\/p>\n<p>The selection process as described below applies to scholarships beginning in September 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Student selection will take place in two phases:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phase 1:<\/strong>\u00a0FAO will pre-screen candidates and submit applications to the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary that will send them to the corresponding University as chosen by the applicants. Students must submit only COMPLETE dossiers.\u00a0<strong>Incomplete dossiers will not be considered<\/strong>. Files without names will not be processed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phase 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Selected candidates may be asked to take a written or oral English examination as part of the admission procedure. The participating University will run a further selection process and inform each of the successful candidates.\u00a0<strong>Student selection will be made by the Universities only<\/strong>, without any involvement on the part of FAO.
