The bursary will be awarded to students who are either currently studying or plan to study, towards a\u00a0<strong>field of study related to ICT (Information and Communications Technology)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be a South African citizen<\/li>\n<li>You must be 35 years old or younger (youth age group, per the National Youth Policy)<\/li>\n<li>You must be studying or intend on studying within a field of study related to ICT (Information and Communications Technology) (undergraduate studies only \u2013 funding is not available for postgraduate studies)<\/li>\n<li>You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa (University, TVET, private FET college, or higher educational institution)<\/li>\n<li>You must NOT be in receipt of any other bursary funding<\/li>\n<li>You must intend on following a career within the ISP (Internet Service Provider) sector<\/li>\n<li>Preference will be given to students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students who are interested in a career within the ISP (Internet Service Provider) sector should apply.<\/p>\n<p data-birdsend-par-index=\"6\">Make sure to read every detail of your Bursary contract.
