Support is provided for post-secondary school (university, polytechnic, trade school). Financial support is primarily to cover tuition and school fees and directly related expenses including books and supplies.<br \/>\nWells Mountain Initiative works to create social change through education and community building by providing bright young people in the developing world with student scholarships and skills training, building a network of grassroots leaders who are catalyzing community transformation.<br \/>\n<strong>Scholars\u2019 Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain good grades in all university studies<\/li>\n<li>Be an ambassador for community service and engagement<\/li>\n<li>Perform, record and document 100 hours of community service activities throughout the year<\/li>\n<li>Complete the Academic Semester Report &amp; Community Service Report for WMI Scholars<\/li>\n<li>Send official semester transcripts twice a year<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with the Student Scholar Coordinator openly regarding your situation as a student<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Scholarship<\/strong><br \/>\nThey award 50-60 scholarships per year. The maximum scholarship is $3,000 USD per year.
