The Shop Assistant\u2019s responsibilities include liaising with customers , arranging shop displays accordingly, venue hire setups and processing customer purchases.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Curio shop<\/li>\n<li>Venues, cleaning and setup<\/li>\n<li>Stock management: Receiving, processing, and organizing deliveries accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>EOD Cash-up<\/li>\n<li>Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting customers in locating desired shop items.<\/li>\n<li>Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases.<\/li>\n<li>Performing end-of-day cleaning duties, which includes wiping down windows, mirrors, and fixtures as well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor.<\/li>\n<li>Processing customer payments using the shop&#8217;s Point of Sale (POS) system.<\/li>\n<li>Party venue setup and cleaning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You should be well-organized and adept at using pricing and labeling equipment, and demonstrate effective communication skills and achieve exceptional customer service at all times. Ability to work well on a team. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
