The Unisa Library and Information Services came into being in 1946 when Unisa introduced distance learning as a mode of tuition. The last 50 years have been a period of rapid growth, with the printed book collection now totalling over 2.7 million items.<\/p>\n
We subscribe to an increasing number of electronic information resources including electronic databases, e-journals and e-books These are available to registered Unisa students and staff online 24\/7, regardless of geographical location.<\/p>\n
