They are typically undertaken by students and graduates looking to gain relevant skills and experience in a particular field.<\/div><\/div>\n<p id=\"block-1a9dfe92-2735-45f2-a1f9-39727aa504c4\">Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (<em>CHIETA<\/em>) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2024.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p id=\"block-eab75cb7-42e8-4d93-8dd3-74d56eb41ed0\"><strong>Internship<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Midrand, Gauteng<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>There is an exciting internship opportunity within CHIETA. The purpose of the position is to provide administrative support to the SCM Sub-Unit and other business units within the CHIETA. Candidate who meet the below requirements of the position are invited to apply:<\/p>\n<p>Monthly Stipend: R 7 000.00 (Seven Thousand Rands)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Minimum National Diploma in Public Finance and Accounting\/ Accounting\/ Supply Chain Management or a similar field with a minimum aggregate of 65%.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Level 4 CIPS Qualification will be advantageous<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be computer literate.<\/p>\n<div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\">\n<div class=\"stream-item-size\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u2022 Candidate should have no work experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Valid driver\u2019s license will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\u2022 Procurement through quotation system process<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Sourcing of suppliers from Central Supplier Database<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Compilation and evaluating price quotations.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Conducting product and services market research.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Compiling and submission of Annual procurement plans and quarterly reporting.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Participate in overall tender process management.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Participate and assist various bid committees with bid management.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Perform inventory management functions including monthly inventory reconciliations.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Perform travel arrangements bookings including monthly diner\u2019s reconciliation.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Perform contract management functions.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Assist the Supply Chain Management team with expenditure trend analysis.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Drafting of various reports and compliance management.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Conduct Adhoc Supply Chain Management functions as and when required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In order to be eligible for the internship, applicants must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Be recently graduated with no work experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Be able to plan, prioritise work, meet deadlines, and work independently.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Be systematic and thorough in their approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strong computer and innovative skills<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Show a demonstrated ability to multi-task and ability to prioritise across multiple projects and social media platforms.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to write for public consumption.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be willing and able to work in teams and be a self-starter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Behavioral competencies:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Planning and Organization Skills<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Communication (oral and written)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Problem solving ability<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Diversity awareness<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Confidentiality, ethics, integrity, and professionalism<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Detail orientated<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Teamwork<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Innovative skills.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"how-to-apply\">How to apply<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Interested persons are invited to submit their CV\u2019s, academic record, certified copies of their ID, matric certificate and relevant tertiary qualifications to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@chieta.org.za\">recruitment@chieta.org.za<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Should no feedback be forthcoming by 1 st of July 2024 please accept that your application was not successful.
