University of the Western Cape UWC Financial Clearance for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Master’s, Diploma, Doctoral,\u00a0 and Certificate programs students.<\/strong><\/p>\n The management of the University of the Western Cape UWC has released the UWC financial clearance process for first-year students, self-funded students, returning students, postgraduate, masters, PhD, doctoral, and students without upfront and arrears fees.<\/p>\n Where a student had a zero-balance account, an upfront payment of R4290.00 is required before financial clearance may be processed. The amount is inclusive of the normal registration fee of\u00a0R1515.00.<\/p>\n First Year Students<\/strong><\/u> Self-funded students<\/strong> Returning undergraduate students<\/strong><\/u> Self-funded students<\/strong> Students without upfront fees and outstanding balances from previous years and students with fees in arrears<\/strong>\u00a0should make contact with Student Credit Management via the following Hubs: Postgraduate students (new and returning)<\/u><\/strong> Self-funded students<\/strong> Students will not be able to register if this amount is not paid. Payments via EFT should be made three (3) days in advance in order to clear before registration.<\/p>\n Masters, PHD and Doctoral re-enrolment<\/strong><\/p>\n Full cost and Partial Corporate bursaries<\/strong><\/p>\n Students approved by NSFAS for funding<\/strong><\/p>\n All SADC\u00a0students<\/strong>\u00a0are required to pay the full tuition and full residence fees upfront, on every year of registration. The fees are based on the South African citizen rates unless the study programmes for which they are enrolling are marketed at a specific price.<\/p>\n All African Non-SADC\u00a0students\u00a0<\/strong>are required to pay the full tuition and full residence fees upfront, on every year of registration. The fees are based on the South African citizen rates unless the study programmes for which they are enrolling are marketed at a specific price.<\/p>\n All African Refugee\/Asylum Seeker students<\/strong>\u00a0are required to pay the full tuition and full residence fees upfront, on every year of registration. The fees are based on the South African citizen rates unless the study programmes for which they are enrolling are marketed at a specific price.<\/p>\n All Non-South African Citizen students<\/strong>\u00a0are required to pay the full tuition and residence fees upfront, on registration. The fees are based on international citizen (citizen of a country other than South Africa) rates unless the study programmes for which they are enrolling are marketed at a specific price.<\/p>\n All Overseas International Refugee\/Asylum Seeker students\u00a0<\/strong>are required to pay the full tuition and full residence fees upfront, on every year of registration. The fees are based on international citizen rates unless the study programmes for which they are enrolling are marketed at a specific price.<\/p>\n All Overseas International students\u00a0<\/strong>are required to pay the full tuition and full residence fees upfront, on every year of registration. \nStudents whose studies are financed by means of a bursary not administered by the University must, prior to or at registration, submit written proof of the granting of such a bursary and the amount thereof must be stipulated.<\/p>\n\n
