All Eligible and Interested applicants may apply online for this opportunity before the application deadline-closing date.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>NOTE:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don\u2019t forget that the <b>SDGs<\/b>\u00a0application is totally free of charge<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t send anyone money for this opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Beware of Fraudsters!!!!<\/li>\n<li>Subscribe to our notification list with your email to receive the Latest Opportunities Updates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>SDGs Application Details 2023<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Applications are now open for Higher Education and the SDGs Challenge Grants\u00a0to fund collaborative work around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Open to professional and academic staff at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.acu.ac.uk\/our-members\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACU member universities<\/a>, the grants focus on the following\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.acu.ac.uk\/get-involved\/higher-education-and-the-sdgs-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACU Higher Education and the SDGs Network<\/a>\u00a0priority themes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teaching and learning<\/li>\n<li>Research<\/li>\n<li>Estates and stewardship<\/li>\n<li>Engagement and impact<\/li>\n<li>Partnerships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From sourcing energy-saving and clean energy options for Fijian schools to supporting women\u2019s economic empowerment by addressing the financial literacy and gender-based disparities in access to finance \u2013 the grants have been used to fund a diverse range of activities, projects, workshops, and events. Applications could include ideas for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Virtual exchange or collaboration, teaching or professional practice collaboration. Sharing and co-development of learning materials, tools, training, and approaches to support contingency and continuity of operations planning at higher education institutions (HEIs)<\/li>\n<li>Virtual fellowships, comparative analyses, research management, and uptake capacity-building<\/li>\n<li>Integrating sustainable development into operations<\/li>\n<li>Sharing SDG learning content and materials<\/li>\n<li>Developing SDG-focused research strategies<\/li>\n<li>Co-creating research for impact, community engagement, and partnerships for the goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply, you will need to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supply an outline of the project and a detailed time plan, including what it will involve and how it will address the Higher Education and the SDGs Network\u2019s themes. The project time plan is requested for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months.<\/li>\n<li>Submit a letter of support from your university\u2019s executive head (or equivalent), or another senior member of your institution, to demonstrate their support for the programme of work proposed and the ways they will provide support for your project.
