The programme aims to promote Flanders and Brussels as a top study destination.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\"><\/div>\n<p>Applications will be accepted from all Flemish universities, Schools of Arts and the Antwerp Maritime Academy.<\/p>\n<p>It is estimated that 30 international students can benefit from the Master Mind Scholarships 2020-2021.<\/p>\n<p>Students cannot apply directly. Students who apply for a Master programme at a School of Arts have at least:<br \/>\no an overall band score of minimum 6.5 on the IELTS test;<br \/>\no a minimum total score of 90 on the TOEFL test;<br \/>\no a B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference;<br \/>\no or a similar result in another official English language test (recognized by the Host<br \/>\ninstitution).<br \/>\nThe Host institution also performs an academic check of the student\u2019s file. The student has to be accepted by the Host institution to be able to receive the scholarship. Even if the Host institution\u2019s decision to accept the student is taken after the selection of the\u00a0<strong>Master Mind Scholarships programme,<\/strong>\u00a0this criterion applies.<br \/>\n\u2022 All nationalities can apply. The previous degree obtained should be from a higher education institution located outside Flanders. International students who have been on credit mobility in a hosting Flemish higher education institution are still eligible for a Master Mind Scholarship.<br \/>\n\u2022 Students who are already enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution cannot apply. The only exception is made for international students who, at the moment of their application in Spring 2020, are already enrolled in a specific preparatory programme in order to start a master programme in September 2020.<br \/>\n\u2022 Students who enrol for following programmes for the academic year 2020-2021 are not eligible for the Master Mind Scholarship:<br \/>\no preparatory programmes;<br \/>\no bridging programmes;<br \/>\no distance learning.<br \/>\n\u2022 Student mobility during the master programme is allowed. However, at least half of the credits of the master programme must be obtained at the Flemish Host institution.<\/p>\n<p>Application<br \/>\nStep 1: The applicant submits his\/her application to the Host institution. Internal deadlines set by<br \/>\nthe Host institution may differ (see section 6. Timing)<br \/>\nStep 2: The Host institution accepts the application of the candidate.<br \/>\nStep 3: The Host institution starts the application procedure for the Master Mind scholarship by<br \/>\ncreating the candidate\u2019s application file in the Mobility-Online tool.<br \/>\nStep 4: The applicant receives an email generated by the Mobility-Online tool notifying him\/her of being preselected for a Master Mind scholarship.<br \/>\nStep 5: The applicant registers in the Mobility-Online tool and completes his\/her application file in the Mobility-Online tool before the deadline.<br \/>\nDocuments to be uploaded:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passport photo<\/li>\n<li>International passport or national ID<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Transcript of records; if written in another language than Dutch, French, German or English, a certified translation must be enclosed.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>English language test results or Letter of the exemption provided by the Host university<\/li>\n<li>Letter of motivation written in English<\/li>\n<li>Two letters of recommendation from professors of your (previous) Home university, University of<br \/>\nApplied sciences, School of Arts or recent employer wrote in English.<\/li>\n<li>Copy of acquired diploma(s); if written in another language than Dutch, French, German or<br \/>\nEnglish, a certified translation must be enclosed.<\/li>\n<li>Three reasons for motivation for submission (at least 150 words) of the candidate\u2019s application<br \/>\nformulated in English by the Host institution; format: text box in the application form or a<br \/>\nseparate document.<br \/>\nStep 6: The Host institution validates and submits the completed application file in the MobilityOnline tool before the deadline of midnight 30th April 2020 GMT+1.
