They are the best guarantee for a better future with less poverty, more education, and health for all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Masters, PhD<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0Varies By Courses<\/p>\n<p><strong>Value &amp; Duration of Award:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Depending on academic level, monthly payments of 934 euros for graduates or 1,200 euros for doctoral candidates<\/li>\n<li>Payments towards health, accident, and personal liability insurance cover<\/li>\n<li>Travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligible Field of Study:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Economic Sciences\/ Business Administration\/ Political Economics<\/li>\n<li>Development Cooperation<\/li>\n<li>Engineering and Related Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Mathematics<\/li>\n<li>Regional and Urban Planning<\/li>\n<li>Agricultural and Forest Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Natural and Environmental Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Medicine and Public Health<\/li>\n<li>Social Sciences, Education and Law<\/li>\n<li>Media Studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligible Countries:<\/strong>\u00a0International Students<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be considered for the German Government DAAD Scholarship, applicants must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>works either for a public authority or a state or private company in a developing country and, as such, is engaged in the planning and execution of directives and projects with an emphasis on development policies having a bearing on technological, economic or social areas.<\/li>\n<li>holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree (normally four years) in a related subject.<\/li>\n<li>has completed an academic degree with far above average results (upper third) and at least two years of related professional experience after the first degree (bachelor) at the time of application.<\/li>\n<li>His\/her academic degrees should normally not be more than six years old.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants who have been residents in Germany for longer than 15 months at the application deadline <strong>cannot<\/strong>\u00a0be considered.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Interested candidates should click on \u201c<strong>Apply For This Scholarship<\/strong>\u201d below<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Documents:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed and signed\u00a0checklist<\/li>\n<li>DAAD application\u00a0\u201cApplication for a research\/study scholarship\u201d (please type your answers or make sure they are easy to read)<\/li>\n<li>A curriculum vitae in reverse chronological order without any unexplained gaps (please use the europass template including exact information about your studies, and practical experience<\/li>\n<li>One\u00a0Letter of Motivation with detailed reference to academic, professional and personal reasons for applying for the programme.<\/li>\n<li>Certificate(s) of Employment from the employer(s) showing at least two years of relevant work experience after the Bachelor\u2019s degree up to the time of application and if possible, a guarantee of re-employment from your current employer upon returning home.
