Please note that each of the three areas of focus has its own criteria. In order to meet the basic eligibility criteria, the activity must:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Address climate change mitigation or adaptation;<\/li>\n<li>Be already implemented, or in the course of implementation;<\/li>\n<li>Be scalable and\/or replicable with potential for long-term impact;<\/li>\n<li>Be innovative and\/or demonstrate potential for long-term transformational change;<\/li>\n<li>Deliver verifiable social and environmental benefits;<\/li>\n<li>Not be registered or have intentions to register as a clean development mechanism (CDM) or joint implementation (JI) initiative in the next two years.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Award winners receive the following benefits package:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I. \u00a0Engagement with policymakers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognition by the UNFCCC secretariat;<\/li>\n<li>Funded attendance to UN Climate Change Conference (apart from winners under the Financing for Climate Friendly investment category, which need to be self-funded to attend the Conference);<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities to present work to policymakers during the UN Climate Change Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>II. \u00a0Public relations support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Concentrated media engagement effort prior to and during the UN Climate Change Conferences, including \u00a0placement of opinion pieces and earned media;<\/li>\n<li>The on-going digital campaign, including social media, email marketing and promotion on the UN Climate Change website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>III. \u00a0Marketing support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promotional videos;<\/li>\n<li>Dedicated webpage on the UN Climate Change website;<\/li>\n<li>Interactive annual reports;<\/li>\n<li>Professional photography.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to apply?<\/h3>\n<p>To start a new application,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/momentumforchange.fluidreview.com\/acc\/r\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">register in our online application portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It will take at least an hour to complete an application.
