The National Hospital Network (NHN) was founded in 1996 with the prime objective of bringing together leading independently owned private hospitals and medical facilities under one umbrella; to gain synergy and cost effectiveness, and to collaborate on best practice patient care.<\/p>\n

NHN hospitals are consistently ranked among the top 20 in South Africa on the Discovery Health Patient Experience Survey (PaSS) rankings, yet the group\u2019s members are continually striving to improve. Our quest for excellence in both medical services and patient care ensures that you can expect state of the art facilities and 5-star patient care at NHN member facilities.<\/p>\n

From the smallest 2-bed hospital to NHN\u2019s largest 345-bed hospital, NHN members include single discipline hospitals such as maternity, urology or oncology hospitals through to ophthalmology, psychiatric and general care hospitals, ensuring that NHN members provide a broad spectrum of care \u2013 from cradle to grave, birth to sub-acute, with palliative care.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

NHN members, including hospitals, day clinics, psychiatric facilities, ophthalmology facilities, sub-acute facilities and rehabilitation facilities are in the major urban areas of Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Durban, as well as in smaller centres including Louis Trichardt, Bela-Bela, Lebowakgomo, eMahlahleni and Nelspruit, which means that NHN facilities and quality care are within easy reach of as many patients as possible. A substantial number of NHN hospitals are BEEE compliant, underscoring NHN\u2019s value as a significant support structure for driving transformation in the private hospital industry.<\/p>\n
