We are looking for a team member that is proactive, strives for continuous improvement and analytical to manage cash flow, income, liability obligations and maintain good relationship with AAI Banking partners. Reporting to the Financial Planning and Reporting Manager, the ideal candidate will execute day-to-day cash management and advise financial operations on movement of funds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain and develop processes and protocols that ensure that the transfer and remittance of funds between General Secretariat and Countries is efficient, effective, timely and value for money.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Monitor and forecast cash balances and cash flow needs at several banks.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Prepare and analyze proposals for banking and financing services.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Support to manage short-term investment balances.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Produce monthly reconciliation and analysis of actual cash remitted versus forecast to include intercompany reconciliations to analyse and feedback on time from request to execution.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Act as the main contact point for AAI banking partners for all international payment investigations, queries and sanctions compliance.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensure AAI compliance with all banking regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensure investment management reports are received on timely basis, reviewed and reconciled.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education, Language &amp; Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 B. Com Degree or professional accounting qualification.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At least 5 years in a similar role.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Solid foundation in finances and must have strong communication and leadership skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Knowledge, skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Experience using online banking platforms, treasury systems and accounting systems.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Experience of working in an international treasury function.
