Position Purpose & Summary<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\nThe CBI SAF Supply Chain Planner is responsible for the day to day coordination of supply chain activities related to the operation of the Production Plant (currently located at Nedan – Mokopane, soybean oil supplier site) including but not limited to inventory and order management both for suppliers and customers, contract management on the related ERP system, reporting, administrative tasks related to invoicing and product shipping – delivery.<\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\nThe individual is expected to report to CASC SAF SC Lead, with dotted line to CBI SC team, overseas.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\nAbility to communicate effectively, strong coordination and structural, process-oriented way of working are the key competencies for this position.<\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\nPrincipal Accountabilities<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n70% Inventory Management and Supply Planning (raw materials and finished goods)<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n\n\n- \nWith some direction, maintains data relevant to supply and inventory planning activities, including capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master and location data;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nWith some oversight, create the requirements plan as input to the long term supply plan for assigned products or locations, including demand plan and inventory inputs to determine net supply needs;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nCreate the long term supply plan with some oversight from manager for assigned products or locations;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nWith some oversight, review network capacity capabilities and trends with Master Production Planners;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nProvide potential solutions for the business to review when available capacity does not meet requirements;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nReviews capacity on a daily basis for assigned products or locations and develops plans to service customers through any shortages;\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nCollaborates with all relevant stakeholders in the process using a substantial understanding of supply chain planning practices and procedures;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nUnder supervision, generate and execute cycle stock and safety stock plans for the assigned products or locations, utilizing the approved supply plan inputs;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nWith some oversight, create the finished goods inventory plans for assigned product(s) or locations, and provide for business review;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nRecevie and create orders for network distribution moves and communicate to logistics for execution;\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nWith minimal guidance, manage inventory levels to expected volume and working capital levels and provide solutions when business parameters change requiring a change to inventory expectations;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nProvides input in setting Supply and Inventory Planning metrics targets;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nAnalyze actual measure vs. target measures for assigned product(s)\u00a0 or locations;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nProvide input and insight in developing action plans to close gaps between target and actual measures;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nProvides continual Supply and Inventory Planning process improvement input;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n

\n- \nCollect all documents for onboarding counterparties (suppliers, customers, internal Cargill entities);<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n

- \nProvide support in setting and following up counterparty risk limits (credit and storage);\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nReporting : Produce and action execution of daily report of actual exposures versus approved limits;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nInvoicing\/payments: Prepare documents to be sent to CBS for payment of all accounting orders;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nAssist in managing all contracts (in MBS) related matters and orders closing;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nAssist the Account Manager to track customer\u2019s overdue and other related paybles\/receivebles;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nPrepare inventory valuation (in MBS) and pass this to finance to validate;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \nLiase with business manager and Plant Operation on business matters and work with finance team so everthing is understood and correct in P&L;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
