To manage and ensure that maintenance plans are developed, implemented and monitored to meet the targets as set by<\/p>\n<p>the Chief Engineer<\/p>\n<p>4. Effectively manage vehicle fleet, fit for purpose, comply with companies goals and ensure compliance to legislation<\/p>\n<p>5. Plan, monitor and implement risk management controls of fuel transactions, fuel consumption, services and authorised<\/p>\n<p>utilization of company vehicles<\/p>\n<p>6. Research, compile and manage an effect departmental SHE safety programme<\/p>\n<p>10. Manage and monitor the departments effective use of the SAP system<\/p>\n<p>11. Continually review the department\u2019s staff structure to ensure maximum utilisation of manpower<br \/>\n12. Plan and arrange departments training requirements in line with employees ILP\u2019s<br \/>\n13. Plan, co-ordinate, implement and monitor a performance management process within the department<\/p>\n<p>14. Research and compile detailed specifications for the submission of tenders for refuse removal, vegetation control, garden<\/p>\n<p>service, potplants and cleaning contract<\/p>\n<p>15. Continuously monitor departmental spending to ensure spending is in line with approved budget<\/p>\n<p>16. Ensure adherence to company\u2019s policies and procedures<br \/>\n17. Contribute towards the strategic and general management of the port as a manager to improve the business position of<\/p>\n<p>the port<\/p>\n<p>18. Accept responsibility as the GMR2 appointee and appointment as competent person for the Port in terms of the OSH Act<\/p>\n<p>19. Provide ad hoc assistance to Property Department in undertaking inspections of leaseholder\u2019s sites and recommend<br \/>\nrepairs and maintenance to ensure compliance lease agreements.<\/p>\n<p>20. Assist Property Department to monitor progress on recommended repairs and maintenance programmes of lessees and<\/p>\n<p>ensure compliance to legal requirements<\/p>\n<p>21. Through Property Department; negotiate, sign agreements and provide the necessary services, i.e. electrical, water,<\/p>\n<p>sewerage etc., to leased areas.<\/p>\n<p>22. Monitor ports electrical consumption to ensure compliance to Electrical Regulations and Nominated Maximum Demand<\/p>\n<p>(NMD) regulations<\/p>\n<p>23.
