Good news! Applications for Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship are currently open. In this article, we will explain in detail this scholarship program, its benefits and step by step application process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship 2024\/2025 is a fully funded scholarship for international students. These scholarships are available for master\u2019s and Ph.D. These scholarships will provide a monthly stipend of \u20ac 850 for masters and \u20ac 1,200 for Ph.D. and cover tuition fees and accommodation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung awards scholarships to international master students and graduates in order to enable study and research at universities in Germany. This way, we actively promote intercultural dialogues, the formation of international networks as well as the internationalization of universities and science.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scholarship Summary<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Level of Study:\u00a0<\/strong>Masters, PhD<\/li>\n<li><strong>Institution(s):<\/strong>\u00a0German Universities<\/li>\n<li><strong>Study in:<\/strong>\u00a0Germany<\/li>\n<li><strong>Opportunity Focus Areas:\u00a0<\/strong>All the available programs at German Universities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Program Period:\u00a0<\/strong>Two years For Master candidates, and three years for doctoral candidates.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0July 15, 2024 (annual)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scholarship Coverage<\/h2>\n<p>Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship will cover the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduates (master or postgraduate students) receive a monthly scholarship of\u00a0\u20ac 850.<\/li>\n<li>PhD-students receive a monthly scholarship of \u20ac 1,200.<\/li>\n<li>The scholarship subsidize health care insurance up to the amount of\u00a0\u20ac 120 per month.<\/li>\n<li>Tge scholarship offers a family allowance of\u00a0\u20ac 276\u00a0provided that you and your spouse live together in one place in Germany for at least three months and that his\/her income does not exceed the amount of\u00a0\u20ac 450\u00a0per month.<\/li>\n<li>Fees resulting from courses at the university in Germany that are directly related to your studies can be refunded up to the amount of \u20ac 1,500 per semester.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kas.de\/en\/web\/begabtenfoerderung-und-kultur\/auslaenderfoerderung\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria for Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>To be eligible for Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship, candidates must fulfill following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Required Language:<\/strong>\u00a0English \/ German. Have good knowledge of the German language (B2-level),<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eligible Countries:\u00a0<\/strong>All world countries<\/li>\n<li>Have a university degree, as the program does not provide support for bachelor studies,<\/li>\n<li>Prove above average academic performance,<\/li>\n<li>Be no older that 30 when applying,<\/li>\n<li>Plan to study a minimum of three semesters at a university in Germany,<\/li>\n<li>have a positive attitude towards democracy and human rights,<\/li>\n<li>In addition, they have already actively engaged in their home countries through voluntary work for other people and society<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply for Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship?<\/h2>\n<p>Please follow the following application instructions to apply for Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship:<\/p>\n<p><strong>There are two ways to apply for our scholarship program:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1) Each year new focus countries or regions are determined for our selection procedures. In 2021 we will focus on Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and Latin America (coordinated through our office in Peru) and interviews will be conducted online. If you are living in one of these countries, you may send your written application directly to the responsible KAS office \u2013 please check their web-sites for the exact procedure and addressee. Students living in countries that are not listed cannot apply for the international selection procedure in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>2) In case you are already living or studying in Germany, you are welcome to apply for a scholarship via the domestic selection program using our online procedure. Please fill out the application form online and upload all required application documents. Please do not send in any documents by mail as these will not be considered. The application period ends on July 15th (12:00\/noon) each year for the domestic procedure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attach the following documents:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attach a\u00a0meaningful CV\u00a0in tabular form including details about your previous voluntary work or social commitment.<\/li>\n<li>Motivation letter.<\/li>\n<li>Copies of your examination certificates in German translation if the originals are not in English.<\/li>\n<li>Copies of your studies performance records if you have been studying at a University in Germany.<\/li>\n<li>Proof of German language skills (B 2).<\/li>\n<li>An informal academic letter of recommendation: This letter should provide information about your academic qualifications and potential; it should not be older than two month. The author has to be a university professor or teacher holding a doctoral degree.<\/li>\n<li>An informal letter of recommendation concerning the applicant\u2019s personality: This letter should focus on your personality and interests as well as on your understanding of values and your social commitment. The author cannot be the same as the one providing the academic letter of recommendation.<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of admission or matriculation from your university in Germany.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are applying for a PhD-Scholarship, please add the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A detailed description of your doctoral thesis: This expos\u00e9 should be written in German or English (5-10 pages; font size 12; 1.5 line spacing) and should outline the central research question of your proposed project, its scientific relevance, your theoretical approach and the motives behind your choice of the research subject. It should also contain a work and time schedule and a bibliography.<\/li>\n<li>A second academic letter of recommendation: This second letter should be written by the supervisor of your doctoral thesis, providing you already have one.
