SRD R350 Grant for December 2025 – Application & Payment Dates.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Millions of South Africans rely on government financial assistance each month to afford basic goods and services. In December 2025, those needing help are encouraged to apply for the R350 grant from the South African Social Security Agency.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA)<\/strong> provides financial assistance to millions of vulnerable individuals through social assistance grants. Without these grants, many unemployed individuals could not afford to meet their basic needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unemployed people needing financial assistance are encouraged to apply for Sassa\u2019s R350 grant, which has been extended until December 2025.<\/p>\n

How To Apply For The R350 Grant<\/h2>\n

There are two ways an individual can apply to receive this grant.<\/p>\n

  1. Visit Sassa\u2019s\u00a0SRD grant\u00a0website<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Click on the ‘click here to apply online’ button<\/li>\n
  3. Enter your cell phone number and click ‘send SMS’<\/li>\n
  4. A one-time PIN (OTP) will be sent to the number you provided<\/li>\n
  5. Enter the OTP<\/li>\n
  6. Confirm and accept the Clauses in the Declaration and Consent documents<\/li>\n
  7. Enter your details<\/li>\n
  8. Provide your cell phone number, employment information, and lifestyle sustainability information<\/li>\n
  9. Provide your banking details<\/li>\n
  10. Follow the prompts to complete your application<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Add Sassa on WhatsApp using this number –\u00a0082 046 8553<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Send a message to the number – Careers Portal simply sent \u201cSRD Grant\u201d<\/li>\n
    3. Indicate if you are applying for a grant for yourself (by sending the number 1) or on behalf of someone else (by sending number 2)<\/li>\n
    4. Send a message with your name as it appears on your identity document<\/li>\n
    5. Send a message with your surname as it appears on your Identify document<\/li>\n
    6. Read the terms and conditions and respond \u201cYES\u201d if you accept the terms and conditions<\/li>\n
    7. Indicate whether you are a South African citizen (by sending the number 1) a Permanent Resident (by sending the number 2) or a Refugee (by sending the number 3)<\/li>\n
    8. Click on the link sent to you in the WhatsApp chat<\/li>\n
    9. Confirm and accept the Clauses in the Declaration and Consent documents<\/li>\n
    10. Enter your ID number<\/li>\n
