International Peace College South Africa (IPSA) Fees Structure 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Prescribed student fees<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fees are valid for the academic year only.<\/p>\n

Prescribed student fees include part of the registration, prescribed modules, additional support, and intervention sessions (compulsory upon all students where applicable), and examinations (excluding special and supplementary examinations).<\/p>\n

Early-bird registration discount<\/strong><\/p>\n

Students who register before and pay the full registration fees to qualify for a 15% discount on prescribed fees. Please note that this discount only applies to the full-year course.<\/p>\n

Late Application and Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n

Any late applications received after 31 January will incur a late application penalty of R100<\/p>\n

Any late registration received after 3rd<\/sup> February will incur a late registration penalty of R250<\/p>\n

The minimum amount payable on registration<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. a) R3500.00 is payable upon registration. This amount includes:<\/li>\n
  2. b) R1300-00 non-refundable registration fee, and R2300-00 toward tuition fees.<\/li>\n
  3. Fees paid in full\u00a0will receive an additional discount of 7.5%<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Withdrawal \/ De-registration from courses<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. A student wishing to de-register from a course needs to follow the standard de-registration process.<\/li>\n
    2. The student is responsible for informing the college\u00a0in writing<\/strong>\u00a0of such a decision to withdraw or de-register.<\/li>\n
    3. The designated notification form to de-register from a course must be filled out and submitted to the E&R Office for the attention of the E&R Officer.<\/li>\n
    4. In the case of unmarried students, the paying parent(s)\/guardian must counter-sign the designated deregistration notification form.<\/li>\n
    5. An Administration Fee of\u00a0R300<\/strong>\u00a0per module will be charged on all de-registrations.<\/li>\n
    6. If notice to de-register from a course is received\u00a0before<\/strong>\u00a0the commencement date of the course, then 100% adjustment (minus the R300 administration fee per module) of the course fee is applicable.<\/li>\n
    7. If deregistration noti\ufb01cations for\u00a0Semester<\/strong>\u00a0One<\/strong> reach the ER Office\u00a0before 31st March,\u00a0<\/strong>50% reimbursement will apply to semester courses and 75% reimbursement for year courses, and if Semester\u00a0Two<\/strong>\u00a0reaches the ER Office\u00a0before 31st August<\/strong>. (Minus the administration fee module).<\/li>\n
    8. Failing to submit such noti\ufb01cation, will result in students being held liable for\u00a0full payment<\/strong> of tuition fees for the application modules and courses.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      No adjustment of course fees will be applicable if notice to withdraw from a course is received after 31 March and 31 August of the applicable academic year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Prescribed student fees<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Note that the outstanding balance after payment of the initial amount on registration must be paid up in equal monthly installments over eight months until 31 September of the academic year.<\/p>\n

      NB:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • A student must have a student number BEFORE registration can be processed or fees paid or deposited into the Standard bank account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Legal fees<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Any legal fees that arise due to actions taken by IPSA to collect unpaid student fees will be for the account of students.<\/p>\n

        Cancellation and failure to pay fees<\/strong><\/p>\n

        If students fail to pay any outstanding amount on their account before the relevant date, their registration for the respective study units will be canceled by the institution, and only special appeals against such cancellation will be considered. In respect of each canceled study unit, students will forfeit fees in accordance with Registration cancellation dates. Thereafter, they will be registered only for the number of study units for which they had paid in full before the dates indicated.<\/p>\n

        IPSA holds the right to withhold a student\u2019s results who have defaulted in paying their fees in full.<\/p>\n

        NB:\u00a0 Please note that this rule is to be strictly adhered to.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Bursary holders and students whose studies are underwritten by their employers or other institutions<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Students in this category must pay at least the relevant prescribed initial payment on registration. Fees must be paid before the relevant closing date(s). Accounts are issued only to students and not to any third party or other institutions. A quotation of fees payable may be issued on request, which you may hand to the relevant institution before registration.<\/p>\n

          Debit card payments are only accepted if you register in person at IPSA<\/p>\n

          Credit Cards<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Credit Cards are restricted to \u2018Visa\u2019 and \u2018MasterCard\u2019. All the required under \u2018Particulars of payment\u2019 on the registration form, must be supplied. The cardholder’s signature is also required on the registration form.<\/p>\n

          Bank deposits (SA Banks only) \/ EFT payments:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Should any of the information on the bank deposit slip be incomplete or incorrect the transaction will not be processed by the bank and\/or cause a delay in the allocation of the funds to your account. Amounts will be allocated within 2 working days to the study fee account provided that all the information on the deposit slip is correct.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • if you already have a student number;<\/li>\n
            • in respect of student fees, examination fees (supplementary or special fees)<\/li>\n
            • At any branch of Standard Bank (In the case of electronic transfers please ensure that the reference field is completed correctly).<\/li>\n
