Cornerstone Institute Financial Aid Policy 2025\/2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cornerstone Institute Financial Aid Program is established to assist students to access tertiary study and to succeed at this study through the provision of financial assistance.<\/p>\n

Financial assistance is usually in the form of partial remission of fees and is dependent on the financial aid policies below.<\/p>\n

FINANCIAL AID POLICY<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

1. PURPOSE<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The purpose of this policy is to provide a framework and guidelines for establishing and managing the application, selection, and review processes and procedures of the Cornerstone Financial Aid Program. The Financial Aid Committee is the sole custodian of fund allocations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Financial Aid Program is established to assist students, where possible, to access tertiary study<\/b>\u00a0and to succeed through the provision of financial assistance. Financial assistance is usually in the form of partial remission of fees and is dependent on the availability of funds and the criteria in section 6 below. The responsibility for financing the fees rests with the student, as specified in the Cornerstone Yearbook under Fee Structure.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. FUNDING<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Cornerstone provides financial aid from external funders as well as from internal resources as determined from time to time by Management. External funders include individual funders, organizations, trusts, churches, or donors.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Selection criteria may be applied as specified by a particular donor about their grant funds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Aid Students are not exempt from complying with the Financial Policy.<\/span><\/p>\n

All students who receive funding from Cornerstone Institute and\/or External Funders are required to complete the Financial Aid form.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a private higher education institution, Cornerstone does not receive any financial assistance or subsidy from the government.<\/span><\/p>\n

We note that there are annually more applications than can be supported by the Cornerstone Institute Financial Aid Fund.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Students are advised to apply to other sources.<\/span><\/p>\n

This policy is to be read in conjunction with the Financial Policy.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. RESPONSIBILITY FOR IMPLEMENTATION<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The Financial Aid Committee (FAC) has responsibility for the implementation and ongoing compliance of this policy. The FAC must comprise at least the first five office bearers below and should ideally consist of all of the following:<\/span><\/p>\n
