The Indianapolis Star and The Arizona Republic, Gannett Co. newspapers, are seeking college students and new graduates with a talent for reporting, news design and graphics, or photojournalism for an exciting and demanding journalism fellowship program.<\/p>\n The Pulliam Journalism Fellowship offers mass media students real-world experience working with journalists, photojournalists, and editors in an urban newsroom.<\/p>\n The Fellowship is named after\u00a0Eugene C. Pulliam, who was an\u00a0Atchison, Kansas, native and graduated from Baker Academy, a preparatory school associated with the university, in 1906. Pulliam started his career as a reporter for the\u00a0Kansas City Star\u00a0and enjoyed a long career as a newspaper publisher, acquiring nearly 50 papers across\u00a0the United States. He founded Sigma Delta Chi with fellow student journalists at\u00a0DePauw University.
