With the scholarship, the Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation want to offer outstanding young scientists from Germany and abroad the opportunity to carry out a research project that is outside of their previous work.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the scholarship is to support those young universalists who \u2013 like Albert Einstein \u2013 are not only characterized by their exceptional achievements in a specific scientific field, but also by their interdisciplinary commitment.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship is linked to a stay in the summer house of Einstein\u2019s summer house in Caputh, which lasts between five and six months.\u00a0The Einsteinhaus is a place of significance in terms of both science and architecture history, with connections to the universities of Potsdam and Berlin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The scholarship holder receives a grant of EUR 10,000 as well as the travel expenses incurred. The grant is intended to cover living expenses and project expenses incurred during your fellowship period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants should be under 35 years of age<\/li>\n<li>Have a qualified university degree in a humanities, social or natural science subject.<\/li>\n<li>Your proposed project must not be part of your dissertation or thesis, and the application documents must be in English. Otherwise, there are no limitations on the project you may propose as long as you can defend your idea as interesting, original, and feasible during the fellowship period.
