These positions may be paid or unpaid and are temporary.<\/p>\n<h2>Gauteng Partnership Fund Internships Programme Application Details 2022<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Overall Responsibility:<\/strong>\u00a0To provide ICT support services to employees at GPF<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist and\/or be exposed to the day to day technical maintenance on server, computers &amp; phone equipment, and wireless.<\/li>\n<li>Assist and\/or be exposed to the maintenance of the operating system, application systems programs and procedures on computers.<\/li>\n<li>Assist service personnel in the configuration of hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives.<\/li>\n<li>Assist and\/or be exposed to diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, or other network and system problems and replace defective components.<\/li>\n<li>Assist and\/or be exposed to in the installation, configuration and support of the network operating systems, and network servers including local area networks (LANs, network segments, and other data communication systems.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain anti-virus software and other software updates, such as Microsoft Office, Java, etc., on servers and workstations including replacement of defective or inadequate software packages.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with Help Desk Support.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related tasks as assigned or required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements for the Internship Placement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems or similar<\/li>\n<li>Strong on IT hardware and software<\/li>\n<li>Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve IT technical issues<\/li>\n<li>Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate ability to multi-task<\/li>\n<li>Eager to learn<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> GPF is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
