The IIE enjoys the reputation of being at the forefront of private higher education in South Africa, and is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to provide higher education qualifications accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE).<\/p>\n
The IIE Varsity College has 2 vacancies for a Administration Assistant X2 (Fixed-Term Contract from 01 JANUARY 2021 TO 31 MARCH 2021) – Based at our Cape Town Online Centre.<\/b><\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n
\n- Office Administration (Student Records etc.)<\/li>\n
- Assisting the Part-Time Division with all administrative duties in support of the divisions marketing function<\/li>\n
- Calling to follow up on documentation required for the successful registration of students<\/li>\n
- Prepare Bill of Costs and Invoices as and when required<\/li>\n
- Assists in quality assuring student registration contracts and supporting documentation<\/li>\n
- Drafting of Proof of Application letters for students<\/li>\n
- Assists in addressing general registration and programme queries. – Redirects complex queries to the relevant Consultant<\/li>\n
- Administration support for the campus Finance\/Admissions Department<\/li>\n
- Assist Campus Administrator with maintenance of campus database<\/li>\n
- Ad hoc campus projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Competencies:<\/b><\/p>\n
\n- Good interpersonal & communication skills<\/li>\n
- Must be methodical\/systematic<\/li>\n
- Attention to detail<\/li>\n
- Experience in Word & Excel essential<\/li>\n
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills<\/li>\n
- Problem-solving skills<\/li>\n
- Work well under pressure<\/li>\n
- Work well independently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Minimum Education Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n
\n- Matric Certificate<\/li>\n
- Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Minimum Work Experience Required:<\/b><\/p>\n
\n- A minimum of 1-2 years admin experience. Must be computer literate (Word & Excel).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
