Job Description<\/span><\/h3>\n
\nResponsible for performing calculations and liaises with other departments both verbally and in writing. Handles anniversary processing, member and new member updates, medicals, paid claims for benefits and quotes for withdrawals and retirements.<\/p>\n
\nAdministration of Retirement Funds and maintenance of member level transactions across functional systems and functional areas within SEB Core. (Identify\/process\/record\/report)
\nAdhere to service level agreements. (Internal and external.)
\nAdhere to internal controls and procedures in place.
\nProfessional verbal and written communication and reporting to clients. (Internal and external.)
\nInvestigate, resolve and respond to internal and external client queries in a professional and effective manner. (Verbal and in writing)
\nInvestigate, resolve and respond to ad hoc operational requirements. (Verbal and in writing.)
\nA thorough understanding of and compliance with the Pension Fund Act, Fund Rules and Income Tax Act and any other relevant legislative requirements.
\nMaintain relationships with internal departments. What will make you successful in this role?
\nMatric\/Grade 12
\nEmployee Benefits Experience
\nKnowledge of updating of contributions will be an advantage Qualification and Experience Grade 12 with 2 to 3 years related experience. Knowledge and skills
\nPrevious retirement fund experience
\nCertificate of Proficiency (COP) or an Introduction to Retirement Funds (IRF) qualification will be advantageous
\nProficiency in Ms Office (word, excel, power point)
\nConflict management Knowledge and skills<\/p>\n\n

\nExcellent communication skills both written and verbal
