Our activities include all aspects \u2013 exploration; mining; processing and blending; shipping; marketing and selling. In South Africa, we have mining operations in the Northern Cape province, as well as a head office in Centurion, Gauteng, and a port operation in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"job-description-wrapper\" class=\"row job-detail-overview-row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-2 col-md-offset-1 \">\n<div class=\"job-detail-overview-title-wrapper\"><span id=\"job-description-holder\">Job Description<\/span>:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-6 col-md-offset-0 \">\n<div class=\"job-detail-overview-desc-wrapper\">\n<p>We are currently seeking to employ a Supervisor Dispatch to join our Kumba Iron Ore family at our Sishen Operation. This is a key role within the Mining Team where you will be responsible to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform monitoring, control and maintenance of WIFI network which is critical for MMS Dispatch and other mining systems<\/li>\n<li>Install and configure on-board computers, mostly PTX type PCs with Windows CE<\/li>\n<li>Setup Interfaces to third-party systems<\/li>\n<li>Perform complex diagnosis\/trouble shooting and\/ or where independent decision making is critical<\/li>\n<li>High level maintenance, installation and testing of sophisticated equipment and machinery<\/li>\n<li>Perform of pro-active inspection and fault finding as part of preventative maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Be able to handle operational problems and do trouble shooting<\/li>\n<li>Ensure work ethics is of such a nature that workers continuously strive towards improving their own performance.<\/li>\n<li>Manage a safe and healthy work environment where workers and contractor can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This role is in the Mining Department at a Band 6 level reporting to<\/strong><strong>the Section Manager MIOC<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"qualifications-wrapper\" class=\"row job-detail-overview-row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-2 col-md-offset-1 \">\n<div class=\"job-detail-overview-title-wrapper\"><span id=\"qualifications-holder\">Qualifications<\/span>:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-6 col-md-offset-0 \">\n<div class=\"job-detail-overview-desc-wrapper\">\n<p><strong>You will need the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12<\/li>\n<li>National Diploma in Engineering (Light Current or Digital Electronics) (S4 or B.Tech. degree)<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years relevant experience as a Master Technician in the field<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literacy, MS Office.
