This page will guide you on how to log in, sign in\/up, retrieve, change, or reset your UWC iKamva profile\/account dashboard password online.<\/p>\n

You can access the University of the Western Cape UWC iKamva Portal<\/strong>\u00a024 hours a day from any location with an internet connection using a desktop computer, a laptop, notebooks, tablets, and even smartphones.<\/p>\n

Meaning of iKamva<\/h6>\n

The word “iKamva” means “future”, which refers to the way in which the social and technological developments are advancing and moving forward.<\/p>\n

iKamva is an\u00a0eLearning platform for UWC students to access lecture materials for self-study, reflection, and assessment purposes. The platform also allows you to upload assignments for various modules.<\/p>\n

How to Log in to UWC iKamva Portal<\/h3>\n

The University of the Western Cape UWC iKamva portal is opened to all students irrespective of color, race, ethnic identity, religion, gender, or national origin provided he\/she have the portal login details.<\/p>\n

If you are a registered student,\u00a0to log in to iKamva you need to:<\/p>\n

  1. Click here<\/a>\u00a0for the website.<\/li>\n
  2. Use your Student number as your User ID.<\/li>\n
  3. If you are a South African student, your Password is your 13 digit ID number.<\/li>\n
  4. If you are a\u00a0non-South African student, your Password is your Date of Birth (yyyymmdd).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note: If you are not a registered student as yet, you will receive your login details by email.<\/p>\n

    Once you have logged in, your screen will open to\u00a0the Home tab, which will display the\u00a0Message of the Day<\/strong>, the calendar and\u00a0News<\/strong>\u00a0section.<\/p>\n

    All your modules will automatically appear under the\u00a0Sites<\/strong>\u00a0tab,\u00a0in your top right corner.<\/p>\n
