Carleton University Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Application Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Applications are now open for the second cohort of the\u00a0Carleton University\u00a0Queen Elizabeth Scholarship for Advanced Scholars from West Africa (QES-AS-WA)<\/strong>. \u00a0The program\u00a0Wurin ta na yin rubutu<\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Her own room to Write<\/a>, which runs until October 2024, is open to West African women in the final stage of their PhD program, postdoctoral researchers, and early career academics affiliated with institutions, to participate in a research acceleration experience.<\/p>\n

Wurin ta na yin rubutu \u2013 Her own room to write<\/a>\u00a0is supported and funded by the\u00a0Queen Elizabeth Scholarship \u2013 Advanced Scholars West Africa<\/a>\u00a0program which focuses on Sustainable Development Goal 5 (gender equality) and (gender equality) as a crosscutting or mainstream goal in one or more of the following areas: climate resilience and sustainable food systems; education and innovation systems; ethics in development research; health equity; inclusive governance; and sustainable inclusive growth.<\/p>\n

Carleton University\u2019s program is contributed to by Universities Canada, with funding from\u00a0International Research Development Centre (IDRC)<\/a> through the Rideau Hall Foundation. The first cohort drew scholars from Cameroon, Ghana, and Nigeria.<\/p>\n
